Roblox is a virtual world, allowing players to sell, buy and create items. For instance T-Shirts and pants can be bought, however players with a builders club membership can only buy and sell the items. This game allows for the creation of groups, upon joining players can advertise their groups and participate in group relations. Ro-blox has created such a following to the point where it hosts it's own developers conference, including Blox Con. As a website, in 2004 Roblox was created by co-founders David Baszucki and Erik Cassel. The original name of Roblox was DynaBlocks. Ultimately, this is a massive multiplayer gaming platform allowing users to design their own games and play a variety of different games, by the developer, of different users. Roblox is considered to be a sandbox game, allowing players to create their own games using it's unique video game engine, known as Roblox Studio. Players are able to use the coding language Lua, to change the environment of the game. Many have compared this game to Minecraft.
