The Call of Duty franchise could be considered to be one of, if not the greatest First Person shooter franchises of all time. Originally beginning on Windows, it later expanded to consoles and mobile devices. The early version of the series was based off of World War 2, but later on it expanded to modern and futuristic settings. There have been several different versions of the game. Activision owns the publishing rights of the video game franchise while Infinity Ward, Treyarch, Gray Matter Interactive, Nokia, Exakt Entertainment, Amaze Entertainment, n Space, Aspyr, Rebellion Developments, Ideaworks Game Studio, nStigate Games, Sledgehammer and Spark Unlimited have been developers. The most recent version of the game will be released coming this November 2017. The franchise has used various different engines throughout the years to power it. Action figures, card games, books and even comic book series have been produced based off of the video game series. This page is dedicated to the game movies of the various different versions.
