Release date: June 29, 2017 (Published by Codemasters)
Micro Machines World Series is the latest version of the game to be released. The game became available for public sale on June 30, 2017. This video game series is considered to be a classic dating back to 1991, where it all began. Published bye Codemasters, its available for Linux, Windows, Xbox One and PS4. Powered by Unity, it features both single and multiplayer action. The plot of the game is a remastered classic with enhanced graphics. The cars are hard to control, and seem to be frustrating every gamer that tries it for the first time. That's what makes it to many, a true classic. There are several different modes to be offered in the game. Starting with traditional races that have weapons, battle modes, territory capturing and even a first to be run off the road by a moving screen mode. The overall controls for the different modes are the same with a little twist here and there. The graphics are great in terms of racing around the house, watching these little cars jump over skateboards, drive on tables with pieces of paper and etc. It really gives the perspective that they are tiny little machines, as if you were playing with them as a kid. There are plenty of other options if you don't always feel like racing while using this game. The different modes always allow for the opportunity to mix it up and keep you occupied.
